System Currency
Our three-tier architecture allows us to migrate our user-facing applications one screen or subsystem at a time. ACA-driven requests for small, custom solutions led us to design a funnel concept that integrated our rules-based EmPOWER engine with new front-end, browser-based applets — kicking off the next generation of systems.
Mobility
The combination of applets that feed our industrial strength systems and the implementation of iPhones and iPads have made the mobile loan officer a reality. This concept extends the loan servicing capabilities to anywhere, anytime.
ERM
Being ahead of the curve as we gather data from disparate systems with an eye toward Enterprise Risk Management.
Google Everything
The ability to “Google everything” within our systems was a central tenet for our intranet/Extranet and Farmer mySites. FPI’s use of SharePoint 2010 is designed to take advantage of its “at-your-fingertips” search capabilities.
Loan Officer as Quarterback
This browser-based interface built on top of the EmPOWER loan management system allows loan officers to act at the point of customer contact and manage ticklers and workflow both with borrowers and with support staff.
Express Loans
An “on-the-spot” 15-minute loan program from data entry to legal doc generation is what we call the Express Loan Program. The EmPOWER loan origination system with its rules-based configurable engine was the backbone that ran behind the scenes that enabled this highly effective 15 minute loan origination product.
Paperless
The associations led the charge on paperless and through their experimentation and FPI’s additions to our systems, true paperless has become a reality.
Document Agility
FPI has developed t a “self-serve” doc engine that enables entities (or FPI) to build and publish their own documents tied to and populated by the rules-based front-end system. Creating and modifying legal docs without programmer, or IT intervention is a pioneering concept that we have mastered.
Rapid Development
Piloted during the development of our applets, our own version of agile development was implemented and fine-tuned with a heavy emphasis on speed and strong interactive input from customers.
