   Who we are

Farm Credit Financial Partners, Inc. (called Financial Partners or FPI) is a dedicated service corporation that provides high-quality, cost-effective business solutions for Farm Credit associations. FPI customers serve many regions of the United States — the Northeast, Midwest, Southwest, Northwest and West Coast — and feature a varied mix of business styles and service offerings.

What we do

As FPI enters its thirteenth year of operations, we have become a seasoned technology company and a market leader in providing business support services to Farm Credit associations from coast to coast. FPI brings the benefits of one-stop shopping to association offices, including technology infrastructure, credit delivery systems, accounting, business intelligence, funds management, 24/7 customer service, process engineering, business support services.

Our technology

Our next generation systems offer built-in flexibility for associations to meet the challenges of the 21st century:

  • EmPOWER™ is — and will continue to be — recognized as the leading loan origination and servicing system in the marketplace. It sets FPI apart from other service providers by putting a fully-integrated credit delivery system at our customers' fingertips. Today associations can use EmPOWER out of the box or choose to configure the system to match their workflow styles while also managing the entire lending process.
  • Business Objects. This industry-leading management reporting tool allows our customers to quickly sort mountains of information and produce customized reports.
  • Centra virtual classroom. We employ this exclusive and revolutionary training vehicle for new system introductions and also make it available to associations for internal use.
  • Online banking and cash management. When combined with CoBank's offering, FPI's online banking and cash management offerings will lead the marketplace.

Our history

FPI began operations on January 1, 1995 by establishing a model as the Farm Credit System's first association-owned 4.25 service corporation and by introducing branch office client servers, a much-needed technology solution that proved to help enhance productivity for our association partners.

Over the years, we have noted that four characteristics of FPI's operations — the best people, the best products, the best partners, the best price — have supported our market leadership position and placed is in excellent position to achieve our strategic objectives.

How we operate

FPI is owned by nine partner Farm Credit associations across the country and by CoBank, of Denver. In addition, FPI provides substantial flexibility in the delivery of systems and services. For example, associations can select ownership of FPI or price-protected vendor services without ownership.

Who we serve

FPI shares a common vision with our association customers and CoBank. We work cooperatively with each owner, vendor service customer and alliance partner so we become a logical extension of their businesses.
